Twin in car DVD players have been available on the market for just slightly less time than single DVD players. Although these are a bit newer, this means nothing when it comes to popularity. In fact, many people are opting for dual screens when buying a DVD player. The truth is that it is not hard to see why. There are really a lot of different reasons why a twin player is a good idea.

Many dual DVD players include a feature that allows you to watch a movie on one screen and hook up a video game to the other screen. This means that each of the two children can choose what they want to do. This definitely can help keep the peace in the car during long trips.

• Hook up in the house - One of the more fun things you can do with these players is set them up in your kids’ rooms and allow them to watch a movie in their beds one evening. You can dim the lights and make them some popcorn and they will feel as if they are in their own private movie theater. You can show them the movies right on the DVD player screens, or you can also easily hook up the players to normal televisions.
• Widescreen vs. standard formatting - Some people prefer to watch widescreen movies because it shows the same picture that you would see in the movie theater. However, there are others who prefer to watch standard formatted screens because they prefer the whole screen to be filled with images. If there is a difference in preferences, this can be overcome thanks to the fact that one screen can show widescreen while the other screen can show the standard format.
