Although regular-sized DVD players are a little older and more trusted, mini DVD players have definitely grown in popularity in recent years. Because of this, the technology associated with these players has also increased.

Mini DVD players can be used in a number of different places, including:

• At home – Portable players are great for use at home. Sometimes it’s just a little more convenient to use a smaller player with less functions/buttons. And the kids can use and be happy with it. For example, if you want to watch a DVD with your spouse on the big DVD player, but you don’t want your kids to see it, you can simply turn on another DVD for them on the mini player.
• On the road ? These DVD players have also become popular in large part because of the convenience of using them in automobiles. It used to be that families just had to grin and bear it on long road trips. Now, however, things have changed. Families can enjoy DVDs together in the car while on trips, or if you have dual screens, some family members can watch one DVD while others watch a different show.

These portable electronics are worthwhile expenses and usually don’t cost more than a couple of hundred dollars. Anyone who can save a little money can afford to buy one of these items. It is for these reasons and many others that mini DVD players are so often purchased.
